Abrams had some ideas, started some plotlines, developed characters in a certain way and then Johnson came and threw it all away. Now apparently JJ picks up initial ideas again. This trilogy seriously lacks continuity. Stella Manion Rian Johnson's "break away from the past" thing could have worked if it was planned from the beginning, but having him throw away a bunch of build-up from Abrams for creative difference reasons was perhaps a bad idea. Some viewers complained about episode 7 being the same as 4, so they did the opposite for 8. Not what people were waiting for. Lily Irene Morano I really liked tfa. Tlj was random and the characters turned out to be shit. Tfa made them cool but then tlj made po and fin idiots. And even though I'm a girl, i found the general insufferable.
